Development of the Maumere Consumer Price Index July 2024

Abstract

In July 2024, Maumere's year on year (y-on-y) inflation will be 1.90 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 106.37.

Y-on-y inflation occurred due to an increase in prices as indicated by an increase in 8 of the 11 expenditure group indices, namely: the food, beverage and tobacco group by 2.71 percent; housing, water, electricity and household fuel group at 0.81 percent; equipment, tools and routine household maintenance group of 2.67 percent; health group at 0.49 percent; transportation group by 1.84 percent; education group by 1.20 percent; food and beverage/restaurant provision group at 3.90 percent; and the personal care and other services group at 1.34 percent.

In July 2024, Maumere's month-to-month (m-to-m) inflation will be 0.23 percent. The year to date (y-to-d) inflation rate for Maumere in July 2024 is -0.02 percent.
