First Development of the Love Statistics Village (Beautiful Village) in Nita Village, Sikka Regency

The Village Love Statistics (Desa Cantik) Program is a Sectoral Statistics Development program at the Village/District level. This program aims to increase the capacity of village governments in statistical activities by identifying village needs and village potential.

BPS Sikka Regency, as the data supervisor, provides guidance to selected villages which are becoming Statistical Love Villages (Cantik Villages) in Sikka Regency. In 2024, Nita Village was selected as a Beautiful Village representing Sikka Regency. The development of the Beautiful Village was first carried out at the Sikka Regency BPS office on September 6 2024, which was attended by the Sikka Regency BPS Beautiful Village Team, the Nisa Village Head, the Nita Village Secretary, and the Nita Village Statistics Agent.

In order to increase the capacity of the village government, in the first development of Cantik Village, material was provided regarding the meaning of statistics and the process of statistical activities according to the GSBPM (General Statistical Business Process Model). Next, a discussion was held regarding the village's needs in developing the Nita Village website.
