Economic Growth of Sikka Regency in 2024

Abstract

The economy of Sikka Regency in 2024, measured based on Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) at current prices, reached IDR 6.76 trillion and GRDP per capita reached IDR 19.85 million.

The economy of Sikka Regency in 2024 grew by 3.95 percent. In terms of production, all business sectors grew positively except for Transportation and Warehousing. The highest growth occurred in the Wholesale and Retail Trade Business Sector; Car and Motorcycle Repair, which was 9.20 percent.In terms of expenditure, the LNPRT Consumption Expenditure Component (PK-LNPRT) experienced the highest growth, which was 10.46 percent.

In terms of contribution, the Agriculture, Forestry, and Fisheries Business Sector contributed the most to the economy of Sikka Regency in 2024, which was 38.51 percent; followed by the Government Administration, Defense and Mandatory Social Security Business Sector at 11.88 percent; and the Wholesale and Retail Trade Business Sector; Car and Motorcycle Repair by 11.41 percent. Meanwhile, in terms of expenditure, the Household Consumption Expenditure Component (PK-RT) contributed the most, which was 73.77 percent, followed by the Gross Fixed Capital Formation Component (PMTB) by 42.42 percent and the Government Consumption Expenditure Component by 20.23 percent.
