Mentoring Meeting for Preparation for the Implementation of the National Assessment (AN) in 2024

MAUMERE – Wednesday, August 7 2024 – East Nusa Tenggara Province Education Quality Assurance Center through the Head of the Sikka Regency Education, Youth and Sports (PKO) Office, Mr. Germanus Goleng, S.Sos, officially opened the Assistance and Monitoring activities for Preparation for the Implementation of the Annual National Assessment (AN). 2024, Advocacy for the 2023 Strategic Plan Achievements and 12 Year Learning Obligations. The event, which took place in the Sikka Regency PKO Service Hall, was attended by the Head of the NTT Province Education Quality Assurance Center, in this case the representative official was the Data and Information Management Staff, the Head of the Sikka Regency Social Service, represented by the Head of the division (Kabid) for handling the poor, the Head of the Empowerment Service The Village Community of Sikka Regency was represented by the Head of Village Government, the Head of Baperida of Sikka Regency was represented by the Head of Government and Human Development, and the Head of the Central Statistics Agency of Sikka Regency was also accompanied by several Heads of the Sikka Regency PKO Service, namely the Head of PAUD/PNF Development, the Head of Elementary School, and the Head of Middle School and several Elementary, Middle School and High School Korwas.

The aim is to advocate for local governments so that the number of out-of-school students can be reduced in line with the 2023 National Socio-Economic Survey (SUSENAS) figures.

In his speech, Head of the Sikka Regency PKO Service Germanus Goleng, S.Sos., emphasized the importance of thorough preparation in facing the 2024 National Assessment, "The National Assessment is not just an exam, but is our joint effort to improve the quality of education in Sikka Regency."

Through this activity, it is hoped to obtain an overview of the essential characteristics of an effective educational unit to achieve this main goal.

Thus, the results of the 2024 National Assessment can be a reference in efforts to improve the quality of education in Sikka Regency.
