Implementation of SUSENAS and SERUTI Field Data Collection in 2024

BPS-Statistics Sikka Regency has carried out field data collection from the March and Seruti First Quarter 2024 Socio-Economic Survey (Susenas). Field data collection activities began with updating households, followed by enumeration of price ranges, and then with data collection on household samples.

Simultaneously with Susenas data collection, data collection was also carried out for the Household Economic Survey or Seruti. The Seruti activity is an activity that is integrated with the National Socio-Economic Survey (Susenas) in March 2024, where the Seruti sample is independent from some of the Susenas samples.

The March Susenas sample is a sample taken after field officers carried out updates on selected census blocks. The updating activity aims to update the citizens/community/residents in the sample area. There are 48 selected Susenas Census Blocks (BS) and 14 integrated Seruti BS spread across the Sikka Regency area.

The output from Susenas is the Poverty Rate, Gini Ratio and Human Development Index (HDI) indicators which are very necessary in planning and evaluating various development programs.
